Senate Bill 787 – the Clean Water Restoration Act

Doesn’t that just sound wonderful? Like they’re planning on just cleaning up our waters or something…

Then WHY is it that Sen. Feingold (WI) wants to redefine navigable waters as ANYTHING even remotely moist as navigable waters that would come under the control of the Federal government, even private property and even State property.

Has he not read the Constitution? Does he not know that the Federal government is not supposed to have any control over the sovereign States? Does he not care that the Constitution says “… nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation”?

Why do they want to OWN all of that water (including the water in your water well, in your property) and the surrounding land?

Doesn’t the Senator realize he’s a public servant… a highly paid bureaucrat that’s there to SERVE us, NOT his corporate buddies or the United Nations, or anyone else.

Is it me, or is that just outright OPPRESSIVE?

I wonder if there’s a way we can just sue him for violating the Constitution and infringing upon our rights?
